SHAMOKIN DAM — It has been three decades since a police officer from Snyder County. lost his life in the line of duty.

On the night of June 10th, 1983, Officer Charles Attig Junior was gunned down on the streets of Shamokin Dam.

One Dead In Wreck

MONROE TOWNSHIP — One man was killed in and Route 11 was shut down in an afternoon accident in Snyder County on Saturday.

According to troopers, Michael Weatherill, 42, of Danville lost control of his vehicle while he was traveling South on Route 11 in Monroe Township.

Another vehicle was involved in the accident, but nobody was hurt.

Troopers believe speed was a factor in the wreck. Officials tell us Weatherill was not wearing a seat belt and was pronounced dead at the scene in Snyder County.

Boneless Skinless Chicken (Cut into strips)

8 Cloves Garlic (Minced)

2 Tablespoons Fresh Grated Ginger

6 Green Onions (Minced) or ¼ Cup Minced Onion

2 TBSP Olive or Vegetable Oil

¾ Cup Ketchup
